We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Engineer with a proven track record in consulting or professional services firms and hands-on experience delivering robust, scalable solutions for financial services organizations. This is an opportunity for a forward-thinking individual looking to be a part of a team shaping the future of financial services.
In this role, you will work with customers and our technology partners on implementation projects across North America. You have experience working with customers within the financial services industry; designing, building, and deploying mission-critical technical services at a large scale; supporting production systems; and dealing with production issues.
You have experience designing and implementing systems and processes for software development teams, including:
- Source control
- Configuration management
- Continuous integration
- Continuous delivery
- Infrastructure as code
You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and you work well with your team. You have solid skills in a significant fraction of these tools, languages, and technologies:
- Package and dependency management (e.g., Maven, Gradle, NPM)
- Container registries (e.g., DockerHub)
- CI/CD pipeline systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Scripting/programming/automation (e.g., POSIX Shell scripting, C, Python, Java)
- Container orchestration solutions (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Public Cloud Hosting/Platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- IBM Relational Databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle DB)
You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training/experience.
