As an Assurance and Accounting Intern, you will develop skills across compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax. You will apply IFRS, GAAP, and ASPE knowledge while preparing financial information and supporting client engagements. This opportunity welcomes applicants with limited experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up files for new clients and incorporated businesses
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reports
- Review financial entries, documents, and reports for discrepancies
- Assess audit evidence for revenues, expenses, and receivables
- Collaborate with engagement teams and client contacts
Requirements:
- Working toward a commerce or business administration bachelor's degree
- Accounting or finance major preferred
- Working toward CPA Professional Education Program prerequisites
- Accounting office experience considered an asset
- Accounting and tax software experience considered an asset
