This Senior Accountant role serves clients within MNP's Assurance & Accounting practice. You will prepare financial statements, assess audit evidence, and correct discrepancies. The position also involves client communication, file management, and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct review and audit engagements for public company clients
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and reports
- Assess audit evidence for revenues, expenses, and capital assets
- Review and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports
- Develop client relationships while mentoring junior team members
Requirements:
- Two to four years of relevant public accounting experience
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP, SEC, and IFRS
- Experience using accounting and tax software
- Understanding of business, accounting, management, and practice development
- Flexibility to travel as necessary
