As an Accounting Technician on MNP's ease Cloud Accounting Services team, you will support clients across bookkeeping and financial reporting. The full-time position includes accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll administration, reconciliations, and government filings. QBO or Xero experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions
- Prepare payroll remittances, filings, and accounting transaction records
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Investigate discrepancies and develop resolutions with supervisors
- Communicate with governments about information requests and assessments
Requirements:
- One year of full cycle bookkeeping experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and processes
- Understanding of sales, payroll, and corporate taxes
- Cloud accounting experience with QBO or Xero preferred
- Business administration or accounting certificate considered an asset
