Build technical accounting skills at MLSE through journalizing, reconciliations, and analysis. This internship offers hands-on exposure across sports and entertainment finance functions.
Reporting to the Director, Accounting, the Accounting Intern supports core functions involving ticketing, global partnerships, and live events. You will coordinate accounting activities while communicating with finance teammates and cross-functional business units. The internship develops practical accounting and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Journalize daily cash depository receipts
- Analyze Salesforce contracts month-over-month
- Journalize credit card chargebacks
- Journalize live event suite settlements
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Requirements:
- Work toward an undergraduate degree and CPA prerequisites
- Intend to pursue a CPA designation
- Demonstrate strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Use Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Work independently and collaboratively with strong communication
