Lead Java microservices and LLM integration for core banking systems in a hybrid role, working two days weekly from downtown Toronto. As a Senior Java Developer, you will implement architect-designed solutions for a major financial services client. Your work spans Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, gRPC, Python, and agentic workflows. You will also help developers adopt AI-assisted engineering through prompt engineering and GitHub Copilot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Java and Spring Boot microservices delivery
- Implement production-ready, well-tested services from target designs

- Design Kafka event-driven workflows and secure integrations

Requirements:
