Analyze investment risk and agreements as a Senior Investment Analyst with Minnesota’s State Board of Investment in St. Paul, with telework eligibility. Reporting to the General Counsel, this position supports Legal and Policy Services across private and public markets. You will provide legal advice, negotiate transaction documents, monitor compliance, and support proxy voting and legislative matters. The work requires strong analysis and writing. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct private markets investment diligence and assess governance risks Review and negotiate investment agreements and transaction documents Monitor public markets compliance with SBI policies and guidelines Review proxy adviser reports and summarize investment implications Research bills and prepare legislative summaries and fiscal notes Requirements:
Juris Doctorate from an ABA accredited law school Three years of relevant legal experience Minnesota law license or obtain one within twelve months Experience in investments, finance, procurement, or complex transactions Excellent legal analysis, writing, communication, and management skills Apply investment law, risk assessment, and negotiation expertise supporting Minnesota’s State Board of Investment and its legal services.
