As a Research Scientist 3, you will guide qualitative work across the Office of the Medicaid Medical Director. The work includes methodological design, coding, theme construction, and integration with claims and administrative data. Findings support legislative reports, federal deliverables, and peer-reviewed publications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design qualitative studies, collection tools, and informed consent materials
- Develop codebooks, code data, construct themes, and interpret findings
- Integrate qualitative findings with claims and administrative data
- Write legislative reports, federal deliverables, and peer-reviewed publications
- Set methodological standards and direct others' analytic work
Requirements:
- Three years leading qualitative or mixed-methods research
- Experience with focus groups, interviews, surveys, observations, and documents
- Qualitative analysis software experience, including NVivo or comparable tools
- Knowledge of informed consent, confidentiality, de-identification, and applicable privacy requirements
- Master's or doctoral degrees may substitute for experience
