The Ministry of Finance’s Commodity and Sales Tax Policy Branch seeks a Senior Policy Advisor. You will guide complex sales tax policy, legislative, and regulatory initiatives involving HST, RST, and municipal taxation powers. The position supports government decision-making through research, options evaluation, briefing materials, and evidence-based recommendations. Key Responsibilities:
Lead research and analysis of complex sales tax policy issues Evaluate policy, legislative, and operational options Prepare briefings for senior management and decision-makers Participate in the Ontario Budget process Coordinate policy and legislative development with stakeholders Requirements:
