- Mid-sized construction company seeking Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician<br />* Experience in servicing Caterpillar & Hitachi Equipment excavators, loaders, rock trucks etc<br />* Ability to perform Hydraulic Diagnostics<br />* Ability to perform Electrical Diagnostics<br /><br />* Ability to service light duty gasoline vehicles an asset<br />* Must be able to work safely and effectively around equipment and detect hazards<br />* Ability to work independently and carry out verbal and written instructions<br />* Must be physically fit to perform duties<br />* Must have own tools – specialty tools will be provided as required<br />* Complete work orders noting repairs completed and parts used<br />* Inspect entire vehicle and road test to ensure repairs are complete<br />* Valid Class 1 driver License an asset<br /><br />Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent<br /><br />Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour<br /><br />Benefits:<br />* Dental care<br />* Extended health care<br />* RRSP match<br /><br /><br /><br />Experience:<br />* Mechanical: 2 years (preferred)<br /><br />Licence/Certification:<br />* Journeyman (preferred)<br />* Trade Certificate (preferred)<br /><br />Work Location: In person
