This full time, year round Reservations Coordinator serves guests and potential guests across inquiries, bookings, payments, and requests. The position reports to the Sales & Guest Relations Manager and maintains communication with relevant departments. Success requires customer service, reservations, sales, and hospitality knowledge, alongside accurate database and guest profile management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily reservations department functions and activities
- Answer calls, manage email, and follow up promptly
- Maintain accurate guest profiles, reservations, notes, and requests
- Receive payments, issue reminders, and follow up overdue balances
- Support rebookings, credits, emergency planning, and waiver management
Requirements:
- Three to five years customer service, reservations, and sales experience
- Strong hospitality principles, methods, practices, and techniques knowledge
- Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
- Proficiency with resort booking software, customer relationship management software, Teams, and Excel
- Strong written and spoken English; second language knowledge preferred
