About Our Client
Our client is an established ICI General Contracting company focused in the buildings construction industry, based in Orillia. They primarily focus on serving institutional and commercial/light industrial clients with their renovation, addition and base building needs across remote North Ontario geographic regions.
Job Description
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise to minimize delays.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Oversee the quality of workmanship and ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to keep them informed of developments.
- Travel to remote areas as required to manage construction projects.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong experience in ICI GC/CM construction projects.
- Proven ability to manage construction sites in remote areas.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide on-site teams effectively.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to travel for work.
