Our client operates in the light industrial buildings construction industry, executing ground up new build, addition, and renovation projects for private clients across Canada and the United States and is based in Burlington.
Job Description
- Lead design-build projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring all deliverables meet client requirements.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of project plans.
- Maintain strong communication with clients to address concerns and provide updates on project progress.
- Oversee procurement of materials and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
- Manage on-site construction teams to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to timelines.
- Prepare and present project reports and updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
The Successful Applicant
- Fluency in both English and French to manage bilingual project requirements for clients based in Quebec.
- Experience in design-build and pre-construction management within the buildings construction general contracting industry.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to guide project teams and liaise with clients effectively.
- Proficiency in managing project budgets, schedules, and resources.
- A solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
