In this role, you will manage customer contracts and execute service and delivery projects across the full project lifecycle, including inventory consignment programs, product upgrades, field service events, and long-term service agreements. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer and contractual expectations.

This role includes approximately 25% travel, both domestically and internationally, to support customer sites and project execution.

You will join a team of contract and project management professionals focused on delivering reliable service execution and exceptional customer experiences across Metso’s service portfolio. Our team plays a critical role in ensuring contract compliance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement, with a shared focus on successfully executing Life Cycle Services contracts, long‑term service agreements, inventory consignment programs, and major service and upgrade projects.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage Metso-owned inventory (MOI) parts and service contracts in accordance with established processes, tools, and policies.
  • Execute projects from initiation through closeout while meeting safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for contract execution and delivery-related matters.
  • Perform SAP activities including project setup, purchasing, inventory management, invoicing, cost control, and project closeout.
  • Lead internal and external project kick‑off meetings to align stakeholders on objectives and contractual requirements.
  • Coordinate and engage internal and external stakeholders through structured communication and project meetings.
  • Maintain project documentation, including risk registers, change logs, inspection reports, and lessons learned.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and provide operational feedback to key stakeholders.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in contract management, project management, or service delivery within industrial, mining, manufacturing, or related environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficiency with SAP, particularly within Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules.
  • Working knowledge of commercial agreements and contract terms.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Demonstrated accountability, leadership, and collaborative working style.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with mineral processing equipment, ability to read engineering drawings, or PMP certification.

At Metso, you will combine meaningful work with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact in a supportive and inclusive environment. You’ll be part of a global team where collaboration, wellbeing, and continuous learning are part of everyday work.
