Coordinate transit infrastructure delivery for Metrolinx in-office at 111 Richmond Street West, using construction oversight and project management expertise. Support the St. Clair Old Weston Extension.
As Project Coordinator, you will work under the Senior Manager across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. Your work will apply engineering standards, building codes, project agreements, approvals, schedules, costs, permits, and stakeholder requirements. You will coordinate contractors, consultants, inspectors, and internal teams throughout project lifecycle stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee design and construction compliance across project lifecycle stages
- Coordinate site work plan reviews, permits, and stakeholder approvals
- Track expenditures, purchase orders, contracts, and change orders
- Manage risks, costs, schedules, permits, and performance indicators
- Prepare reports, logs, presentations, and commissioning handover materials
Requirements:
- College diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent
- Minimum five years coordinating transit facility planning, design, and construction
- Knowledge of civil engineering, architecture, codes, standards, and specifications
- Project management software proficiency; Bluebeam, Revit, GIS, Excel, AutoCAD desirable
- Valid Ontario G licence and strong communication, negotiation, analytical skills
