Lead commercial management for Metrolinx capital projects, applying stakeholder management and strategic advice across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Support complex transit delivery. As Lead, Commercial Management, you will oversee a diverse project portfolio throughout its lifecycle. Your work supports Priority Agreements and Pre-Construction Services, including property, permits, utilities, environmental programs, and Indigenous Relations. You will guide commercial strategy and value for money. Key Responsibilities:
Develop commercial management strategies for priority agreements and vendor contracts Manage relationships with governments, agencies, communities, partners, and vendors Coordinate schedules and plans with internal cross-functional departments Prepare commercial assessments, recommendations, contract documents, and approvals Resolve significant issues and protect Metrolinx’s commercial reputation Requirements:
Degree in engineering, architecture, law, planning, or public administration Extensive experience planning, procuring, designing, and constructing infrastructure Experience managing large, complex, multi-year transit projects Strong relationship management, influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills Knowledge of contract law, construction documents, regulations, and quality controls Apply commercial leadership, stakeholder expertise, and infrastructure knowledge to advance Metrolinx transit projects and strategic agreements.
