As Maintenance Manager, you will oversee Brampton and support Cambridge maintenance operations while reporting to the Director, Fleet Maintenance. The role combines team leadership, operational management, fleet reliability, safety, utilization, efficiency, and cost control. You will use performance metrics, preventative maintenance programs, and continuous improvement practices to support business objectives and equipment availability. Midland Transport operates within the J.D. Irving, Limited group of companies. Key Responsibilities:
Lead maintenance operations across Midland's Brampton and Cambridge facilities Monitor performance indicators and develop improvement action plans Improve fleet reliability, preventative maintenance compliance, utilization, and costs Coordinate equipment availability with maintenance and operations teams Coach employees and frontline leaders through ongoing development Requirements:
Trade certification, technical diploma, or equivalent relevant experience Seven or more years in fleet or related maintenance Experience leading teams, operations, or multi-site maintenance functions Technical, analytical, communication, and relationship-management skills Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Apply maintenance leadership, performance metrics, and fleet reliability expertise across Midland Transport's Ontario operations from Brampton.
