Mercor is collaborating with a leading AI research organization to explore how people build with AI coding assistants.

We seek builders with their own projects, from seasoned developers to non-coders who work with AI, to do normal work in Open Code, a terminal-based coding assistant, while sessions are recorded.

Participants will build or improve their own real project using Gemini and open-weight models, select models per task, and work in a single chat per task.
