Conduct evidence-based nutrition assessments as a Casual Registered Dietitian with Medcan's high-performance clinical team. Availability includes two Saturdays monthly at minimum.
This experienced, client-focused Registered Dietitian supports Annual Health Assessments at Medcan. You will assess macro- and micronutrient intake, interpret blood results, and provide practical recommendations. The work includes customized handouts, electronic medical records, and coordination across clinic staff. Additional weekday shifts and coverage at other Medcan locations may be available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 20 to 30 minute nutrition assessments
- Assess nutrient intake using 24-hour food records
- Interpret blood test results and address client concerns
- Provide practical recommendations and customized handouts
- Maintain records and coordinate efficient client flow
Requirements:
- Membership in the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- At least one year of relevant clinical experience
- Multidisciplinary clinic experience with varied client populations
- Intermediate MS Office and MS Outlook skills
- Experience using an EMR system
