Support Canadian immigration and internationally trained professionals at Medavie as an Immigration Specialist working in a remote-first environment. Coordinate applications, licensing activities, and candidate communication.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Immigration & Global Mobility Advisor, this permanent position supports Medavie's international recruitment initiatives. You will manage immigration files, prepare employer-driven applications, and guide candidates through requirements. The work includes LMIAs, work permits, permanent residence pathways, and licensure coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate document collection, file preparation, tracking, and deadline monitoring
- Prepare and quality-review LMIAs, work permits, and residence applications
- Guide internationally recruited candidates and follow up on requirements
- Deliver immigration presentations, information sessions, and webinars
- Maintain audit-ready records, trackers, databases, and reporting tools
Requirements:
- Two to three years supporting Canadian immigration applications
- Education or specialized training in Canadian immigration law
- Knowledge of IRCC platforms, GCKey, and immigration portals
- Experience managing high-volume documentation, deadlines, and quality reviews
- Strong organization, communication, discretion, and Microsoft Excel proficiency
