This six-month Human Resources Internship sits within Operations and reports to the People and Culture Manager. You will update policies, document processes, maintain HR platforms, and contribute to inclusive workplace initiatives. The work supports people-centred systems and practices at a pan-Canadian private family foundation focused on a sustainable, inclusive, and resilient Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and complete benchmarking tasks
- Template job descriptions and index them to the evaluation plan
- Prepare onboarding checklists, materials, schedules, and documentation
- Maintain internal HR platforms and draft announcements
- Coordinate training materials, participation, and completion tracking
Requirements:
- Degree or current enrolment in Human Resources Management
- One to two years of administrative work experience
- Functional bilingualism in English and French
- Alignment with McConnell Foundation values
- Toronto-area residence and travel willingness
