Lead regional health, safety, and environmental excellence from McAsphalt’s Calgary office, with regular travel across Western Canada operations and customer sites. As Regional HSE Lead, you will influence strategy, strengthen culture, and support sustainable growth across McAsphalt’s Western Canada region. This full-time, permanent role requires technical expertise, leadership credibility, and knowledge of Canadian HSE legislation. You will advise regional executives while translating corporate strategies into practical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align regional activities with corporate HSE strategies and standards
- Ensure Canadian occupational health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Lead inspections, audits, investigations, and corrective actions
- Track and share leading and lagging HSE indicators
- Deliver targeted training and leadership development initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, recognized diploma, or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years of progressive HSE experience
- Knowledge of Canadian federal and provincial HSE legislation
- CRSP designation or ability to obtain within one year
- Valid driver’s license and regular regional travel availability
- Bring HSE leadership, compliance knowledge, and visible field presence to McAsphalt’s Western Canada operations from Calgary.
