Develop BIM automation with Python and Revit in Mississauga, Ontario, working hybrid four days weekly in Mattamy Homes Canada's office.
As a full-time, permanent specialist in Product Development, you will build automation, AI, and software solutions. Your work connects design, manufacturing, and operations while improving data quality and information flow. You will report to the BIM Director and support scalable workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop BIM automation using Python, pyRevit, Dynamo, and Revit API
- Create productivity tools, code libraries, and automation standards
- Implement AI solutions for design review and model validation
- Connect Revit, IFC, BOM, and manufacturing systems
- Document workflows and train end users on new tools
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in architecture, engineering, construction, or software engineering
- Two-plus years developing relevant automation solutions
- Understanding of IFC structures, shared parameters, and BIM standards
- Experience with version control and automation deployment
- Ability to translate complex processes into scalable solutions
