Matrix Camps and Logistics is hiring for Arctic ice road support positions at a remote mining site near Bathurst Inlet, Nunavut. These roles are essential for the construction and maintenance of northern winter ice roads, offering a unique opportunity to work in challenging and rewarding Arctic conditions. Ideal candidates will have proven experience with Arctic ice road operations and thrive in remote camp environments. Roles include:
- General Labourers
- Skidsteer/Grader Operators
- Incinerator Techs
- Fuelers
- Site Administrative Coordinators
- OFA3/Advanced First aid (80hr course) Medic
- Bakers
- Cooks
- Camp Kitchen Attendendants

- Rotational schedule: 3 weeks in/3 weeks out or 4 weeks in/2 weeks out
What You’ll Need
- Proven Arctic ice-road experience over sea ice, land, and lake crossings
- All current training certifications and sign-offs relevant to your role
- Ability to work in remote northern conditions and live in camp environments
- Strong safety mindset and commitment to risk management
- Ability to work rotating shifts (including nights) and be away from home for extended periods
- Pre-employment clearance requirements may apply, including medical, criminal background checks, and drug & alcohol testing
