MatchBox Consulting Group is recruiting an experienced Project Coordinator for a specialty contractor delivering major commercial and institutional projects across Western Canada. You will support Project Managers on hospitals, data centres, schools, and commercial developments. The work requires construction knowledge, ownership, and organized follow-through across multiple project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, and change orders
- Support scheduling, procurement, cost tracking, and progress billing
- Review drawings, specifications, and material take-offs
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers, fabricators, and site personnel
- Track milestones, deliveries, approvals, and outstanding project items
Requirements:
- 1–3+ years of project coordination experience
- Commercial construction experience with relevant project documentation
- Ability to read drawings and understand construction methodology
- Strong organization, detail orientation, and deadline management
- Microsoft Office proficiency; AutoCAD or construction software assets
