Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed structural design drawings and 3D models in Revit and AutoCAD that meet project requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency of all drawings and models delivered by the drafting team.
- Support and mentor junior technicians, providing technical guidance and helping them grow their BIM skills.
- Stay up to date with new software, tools, and workflows, and introduce improvements to the drafting process.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure all deliverables follow BIM best practices.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical issues related to BIM modelling and project coordination.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and requirements are met on time and to a high standard.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a BIM Technician or in a similar drafting role.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of BIM processes and industry standards.
- Diploma or degree in Architectural, Engineering, or Drafting Technology (or related field).
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide and mentor others.
