This full-time Maintenance Manager position requires overseeing maintenance activities, hiring and managing the maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. You will coordinate repairs, maintain hotel systems, and manage departmental budgets while fostering effective communication with staff. Engage with various hotel departments to enhance service quality and ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across all hotel areas
- Hire, train, and manage the maintenance staff
- Schedule and maintain departmental productivity norms
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance tasks
- Communicate with Guest Services and Housekeeping about room status
Requirements:
- 3+ years in maintenance, hotel experience preferred
- 1+ years in a leadership role
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- WHMIS and First Aid certifications preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
