Lead environmental health and safety across Railserve’s U.S. and Canadian operations, partnering with Operations to improve performance. Regular industrial rail yard work and travel are required. As Regional Safety Manager, you will lead a multi-site EH&S program for Railserve, a Marmon Holdings company. The position drives safety culture, regulatory compliance, incident investigations, training, and risk reduction across rail and industrial operations. You will influence site leadership, employees, customers, and regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reinforce a proactive safety-first culture across multiple sites
- Partner with Operations to improve performance and reduce risk
- Lead investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and safety evaluations
- Develop safety training and support new site startups
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Business, or related field
- Five-plus years’ safety leadership in rail or heavy operations
- Experience with Class I railroads and rail-served facilities
- Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian regulatory requirements
- Travel up to 75% initially, stabilizing near 50%
- Bring rail safety leadership, regulatory knowledge, and incident investigation expertise to Railserve’s cross-border EH&S program.
