Reporting to the Buyer, the Purchase Coordinator supports day-to-day functions for an assigned category. You will help execute style creation, manage master data, coordinate samples, and support promotions. The work connects planning, allocation, marketing, product development, design, logistics, and store operations. Basic retail math and business analysis help monitor category performance. Mark's is part of the Canadian Tire family of companies and offers industrial and casual apparel, footwear, and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Buyer with assigned category functions
- Execute seasonal style creation and purchase order tasks
- Manage samples, procurement, distribution, and submissions
- Create price events and coordinate ad proofing
- Maintain vendor and cross-functional communication
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to two years apparel retail experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Basic understanding of retail math
- Organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
