We're looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to own the day-to-day management, execution and optimization of paid acquisition campaigns while supporting organic acquisition through search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO). Performance marketing is a key driver of acquisition and revenue growth at Maple, and this role will help us manage investment effectively, improve performance and identify opportunities for efficient growth.
In this role, you'll manage core paid media channels, use data and experimentation to improve conversion and media efficiency, and partner with performance marketing leadership and cross‑functional teams. You'll help us identify and scale what works across audiences, creative and campaign strategies, while balancing acquisition volume with customer acquisition cost efficiency.
Your responsibilities as the Performance Marketing Manager include:
- Own the day-to-day management, execution and optimization of paid acquisition campaigns across core paid media channels.
- Build and maintain campaign structures, bidding strategies, targeting and budget allocation across Google Ads and Meta Ads.
- Manage meaningful paid media budgets with accountability for customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates and revenue outcomes.
- Use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), reporting platforms and performance data to monitor results, surface insights and recommend next steps.
- Develop and run structured A/B tests across channels, audiences, creative and campaign strategies, translating results into practical improvements.
- Use artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze performance data and optimize campaign performance.
- Support organic growth through search engine optimization (SEO), answer engine optimization (AEO) and generative engine optimization (GEO).
- Establish a consistent reporting and performance review cadence, and identify opportunities to scale high‑performing campaigns and acquisition opportunities.
- Partner with performance marketing leadership and cross‑functional teams to support growth across Maple's consumer and specialty care offerings.
In your first 90 days, you'll build a clear understanding of Maple's paid and organic acquisition strategies, target audiences, performance benchmarks and growth objectives. You'll take ownership of day-to-day campaign management across core paid media channels, establish budget pacing and performance monitoring routines, assess existing campaigns for efficiency and conversion opportunities, and set a consistent reporting cadence with clear insights and next steps.
Over your first 12–18 months, you'll deliver against paid acquisition targets while supporting organic growth and balancing volume with CAC efficiency. You'll build a structured experimentation program across channels, audiences, creative and campaign strategies; scale what works; and improve media efficiency through ongoing optimization of bidding, campaign structure, targeting and budget allocation. Your work will support revenue growth, new memberships and booked assessments, with success reflected in acquisition volume, conversion rates, CAC efficiency and revenue contribution.
What you bring:
- 5+ years of hands‑on performance marketing experience, ideally in a high‑growth, consumer‑focused business.
- Deep expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads, including campaign structure, bidding, optimization and measurement.
- Experience managing meaningful paid media budgets with accountability for CAC, conversion rates and revenue outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organic growth through SEO, AEO and GEO.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with GA4, reporting platforms and performance measurement.
- Experience using AI to analyze performance data and optimize performance.
- Experience developing and executing structured A/B tests and translating results into actionable improvements.
- You're proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with subscription businesses is a plus.
How we'll support you:
- 24/7 access to general practitioners, pediatrics and mental health therapy for you and your family.
- Comprehensive health coverage: Medical, dental and life insurance.
- Health spending account: Extra funds to cover essentials.
- Flex benefits: An annual budget built for your growth and well‑being.
- Health days: 10 dedicated days for rest, medical appointments or caregiving.
- Destination days: Work from anywhere for up to ten days per year.
- Group retirement savings plan.
The details:
- Job type: Existing vacancy, full‑time
- Hiring manager: Senior Director, Performance and Digital
- Location: Hybrid, 500 King St W, Toronto, M5V 1L9
- Start date: December 2026
