This role as a Registered Respiratory Therapist focuses on assisting clients with respiratory disorders. Your responsibilities include setting up CPAP/BiPAP therapy, educating clients on their conditions, and providing appropriate mask fittings. Additionally, you'll troubleshoot medical devices and ensure patient confidentiality, all while adhering to company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and set up clients on CPAP/BiPAP therapy
- Educate clients on their prescribed therapy
- Fit clients with appropriate mask interfaces
- Set up and explain sleep diagnostic devices
- Maintain accurate EMR charting
Requirements:
- WHMIS certification required
- Must have CSRT membership
- Current BLS certification needed
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Strong communication and empathetic interaction skills
