Intermediate Project Manager in Mississauga

Maple Reinders Constructors is currently searching for an experienced Intermediate Project Manager to join our Civil construction division out of our head office in Mississauga, Ontario. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting water/wastewater projects in locations such as Caledon, Bradford, and Hamilton.

As an Intermediate Project Manager, you will manage Water and Wastewater projects working alongside other construction professionals who are passionate about their work. Leadership and accountability are key to a successful project. Along with your team, you will define the schedule, ensuring that goals are met and communication is maintained. The potential to take on larger, more challenging projects is yours, and the opportunities here are endless!

• Developing successful relationships with clients, consultants, architects, sub-contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Effectively managing the project with the skills they have and following Maple Reinders’ processes and procedures, ensuring each project is delivered with quality and consistency.
• Sharing knowledge by mentoring junior Project Managers and Coordinators, guiding them to progress in their careers.

Our Project Managers are responsible for Water and Wastewater related projects typically valued at $20-$50M. To qualify for this position, the ideal candidate will have:

• 5 or more years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry with a general contractor.
• A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• Travel to site required.
• Experience and knowledge in ICI and/or water-wastewater treatment construction is considered an asset.
• Designations such as PMP, P. Eng., and Gold Seal are preferred.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $145,000 / Year (depending on experience)

Location: Mississauga, Ontario with travel to project sites in Ontario.
