As a Steward, your primary responsibilities involve verifying deliveries, maintaining food safety protocols, and ensuring products are correctly stored. Key Responsibilities:
- Audit culinary requisitions against purchase orders
- Follow strict safety protocols in both warehouse and kitchen
- Educate on food products for improved service quality
- Receive and store deliveries, implementing FIFO practices
- Communicate any Purchase Order issues to the chef team
Requirements:
- Prior stewarding or culinary experience is an asset
- Required Food Handler certification
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions
- Strong focus on cleanliness and punctuality
- Flexibility for shift work, including holidays
