As a Prep Cook on the MLSE Culinary team, you will maintain clean, sanitized cookware, tableware, equipment, and work areas. You will prepare products and supplies for kitchen staff and assist with daily preparation for Maple Leafs and Marlies practices. This position requires safe chemical handling, receiving support, recycling duties, and flexible scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize pots, pans, trays, and small wares
- Keep kitchen equipment, products, and supplies ready
- Assist daily preparation for Maple Leafs and Marlies practices
- Receive, store, and deliver incoming products and supplies
- Sweep floors, clean surfaces, and remove recycling
Requirements:
- Minimum three years' high-volume kitchen experience
- Culinary education
- Experience with batch cooking and bulk ingredient preparation
- Basic understanding of sports nutrition
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
