Reporting to the Director, Accounting, this full-time internship provides hands-on experience at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership. Assist core accounting functions supporting ticketing, global partnerships, and live events. Develop communication skills while liaising with finance colleagues and cross-functional business units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Journalize daily cash depository receipts
- Analyze Salesforce contracts month-over-month
- Journalize credit card chargebacks
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Participate in special projects as needed
Requirements:
- Work toward an undergraduate degree
- Complete prerequisites for CPA Professional Education Program entry
- Intend to pursue a CPA designation
- Analyze and interpret data effectively
- Use Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
