This Sr Analyst / Specialist-level position works collaboratively with Procurement team members and business stakeholders. You will develop sourcing strategies, analyze spend, negotiate with vendors, and generate insights that minimize total cost of ownership. The work includes exposure to Six Sigma methodologies through ARIBA and SAP platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement strategic sourcing strategies collaboratively
- Develop source plans for key spend categories
- Facilitate bids, analysis, and vendor negotiations
- Lead cross-functional teams executing sourcing initiatives
- Meet annual cost reduction targets
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Business or Engineering preferred
- Two to three years of strategic sourcing experience
- Superior analytical skills and recommendation-building ability
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Microsoft Office proficiency; SAP experience is an asset
