This senior position manages ongoing claims for Individual Disability and Life Waiver of Premium products. You will assess eligibility, interpret medical and financial information, and communicate decisions to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain superior customer service for policyholders, agents, and marketing centers
- Request medical and financial documentation or investigations for ongoing claims
- Review underwriting files, disclosures, exclusions, riders, and endorsements
- Determine claim benefit eligibility and communicate decisions to stakeholders
- Maintain accurate claim records and reserve calculation information
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Three or more years in claims adjudication, ideally disability claims
- Fully bilingual French and English communication ability
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, oral, written, and negotiation skills
