As a Truck and Trailer echnician, you will be part of a hands-on maintenance group focused on keeping commercial vehicles and equipment operating safely and reliably. What's the Job?
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer systems, including suspension and braking components.
- Perform welding and fabrication work as required to restore or improve vehicle and trailer functionality.
- Carry out maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and transport equipment to support safe operation.
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement effective fixes.
- Complete work with attention to detail, following shop procedures and quality expectations.
What's Needed?
- Experience working as a truck and transport or automotive mechanic, coach mechanic, bus mechanic, or commercial mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of suspension and brake systems, including inspection and repair.
- Ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks to meet repair requirements.
- Willingness to learn and grow as a mechanic apprentice or technician, depending on your experience level.
- Reliable work habits and a safety-first mindset in a maintenance environment.
