Our client is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the Logistics team supporting day-to-day warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to solve problems with attention to detail, and a team-first mindset that aligns successfully in a fast-paced warehousing environment.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Georgetown, ON
Pay Rate: $20.75 per hour
Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday to Thursday
What's the Job?
- Pick, repack, and prepare orders for shipping with accuracy and speed
- Support shipping activities including small parcel shipping, LTL pallet build, and loading using pallet jack or sit-down forklift
- Handle receiving tasks such as unloading using pallet jack or sit-down forklift and stocking/replenishment
- Perform cycle counting (ISC) as a non-driver and support picking/replenishment runner duties
- Assist with general maintenance tasks (non-tech), including facility upkeep and battery change for powered equipment
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED required
- Verbal and written communication skills, plus analytical and problem-solving ability
- Team player attitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically intensive work, including reaching, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds as needed, walking, and standing for periods of time
- Ability to follow direction, meet set performance and safety standards, and work effectively in a busy, sometimes noisy warehousing environment
