Senior Millwright (433A)
Barrie, ON | $47.15/hour | Full-Time Permanent
We're recruiting for 2 Senior Millwrights for a straight DAYS and a STRAIGHT AFTERNOON shift to join a leading automated manufacturing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled trades professional with 5+ years of post-certification experience maintaining and troubleshooting complex CNC machinery, robotics, PLC-controlled systems, and automated production equipment. Beyond technical expertise, we're seeking individuals who can coach, mentor, and develop junior trades team members.
What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair advanced manufacturing equipment
- Support CNC machines, robotics, PLC-driven systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Perform preventative maintenance, overhauls, calibrations, and emergency repairs
- Lead equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize CMMS systems to document maintenance activities
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians while promoting a strong safety culture
What We're Looking For
- 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) CoQ or Interprovincial Red Seal
- Minimum 5 years' post-certification experience
- Experience working in an automated manufacturing environment
- Strong experience troubleshooting complex mechanical systems
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience troubleshooting electrical and/or PLC-controlled equipment
- Availability to work the required shift schedule and overtime, as needed
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, or mentoring capabilities
Compensation & Benefits
- $47.15/hour + $0.50/hr shift premium for the afternoon shift
- 2 shifts available: days or afternoons
