Our client, Construction is seeking a Concrete Sidewalk and Curb Finisher to join their team. As a Concrete Sidewalk and Curb Finisher, you will be part of the Construction Division supporting the concrete crew on sidewalk and curb projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, hands-on concrete finishing experience, and the drive to communicate clearly and improve on every pour, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Concrete Sidewalk and Curb Finisher
Location: Coquitlam, BC
Pay Range: $31.51/hr- $44.50/hr
Full-time, Permanent
What's the Job?
- Set up and check forms for accuracy before concrete placement
- Direct concrete placement into forms and onto finished surfaces
- Finish concrete using hand and power finishing tools, including power vibrators
- Apply sealing components to help cure and protect finished surfaces
- Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before starting each task, then dismantle forms after pouring
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a concrete finisher
- Prior experience finishing concrete and working in construction
- Experience supporting or demonstrating leadership on job sites
- Growth and development mindset, with strict adherence to safety protocols and proper use of approved PPE (including respirators when required)
