Our client is seeking an Account Processing Officer to join their team in Halifax, NS. Job Title: Account Processing Officer
Pay Range: $23.25
Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
What's the Job?
- Process credit card requests related to credit balance refunds, payment reversals, rejected transactions, and exception issues.
- Review and process credit card request files while applying the appropriate rules and regulations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Research and investigate administrative requests, ensuring each transaction is handled correctly and documented appropriately.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to support high-quality client service and continuous improvement.
- Support process streamlining and, when needed, provide guidance to more junior staff.
What's Needed?
- Accuracy & attention to detail to ensure transactions are processed correctly.
- Multi-tasking and strong organization to manage multiple request types efficiently.
- Microsoft Office (intermediate) skills to support daily work and documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism and service focus.
- Comfort working with rules-based processes and investigating exceptions to reach accurate outcomes.
