As a Nightshift Dock Worker, you will organize shifts with Central Dispatch and other workers. The work includes loading trailers, distributing freight, documenting discrepancies, and maintaining clean warehouse areas. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shift setup with Central Dispatch and coworkers
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers
- Distribute freight to pickup and delivery drivers
- Document freight overages, shortages, and damages
- Keep the yard and warehouse clean
Requirements:
- Forklift experience is required
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
- Ability to work safely in busy conditions
- Availability for the 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. shift
