Job Description
- Unloading freight from Inbound Trailers
- Loading Outbound trailers
- Distributing freight to P and D drivers
- Marking shipments with Identifying Information
- Documenting Overages, shortages, and damages
- Reweighing Inbound and Outbound freight
- Provide support to dock foreman
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail, and good knowledge of Canadian Geography is an asset.
- Dock Experience is also an asset
- The ideal candidate will be able to successfully and safely operate all dock equipment pertinent to the position
- Checking manifests and inspecting inbound/outbound shipments.
- Assist with the clean up in and around the terminal
Qualifications
- AS- 400 and M Trac experience (will train the right candidate)
- Forklift experience
- TDG experience
- Team player
- Positive attitude
- Works well under pressure
