Manitoulin Transport seeks an independent incorporated business with a qualified operator for City Pickup & Delivery near Sudbury. The contractor will provide local LTL freight services while following contract standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Services generally run five days weekly and may include weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver LTL freight throughout the Sudbury service area
- Load and unload freight as required
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
- Perform periodic dock services when required
- Follow contract standards, policies, and procedures
Requirements:
- Valid DZ licence
- One year of experience
- Mechanically fit five-ton straight truck with ELD compatibility
- Understanding of Hours of Service regulations
- WCB coverage for operators
