Plan engaging lessons, differentiate instruction, and align delivery with provincial curriculum standards. Integrate Innu culture and land-based learning while supporting students' intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan activities that facilitate active, curriculum-aligned learning
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs
- Integrate Innu history, culture, and land-based learning
- Maintain safe classrooms and guide conflict resolution
- Assess development and prepare detailed progress reports
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education from a recognized institution
- Valid Newfoundland and Labrador Teaching Certificate
- Junior High or Senior school teaching experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Cultural competence regarding Innu culture and values
