Lead end-to-end UX research for MaintainX's AI-first product, combining qualitative and quantitative methods with a rigorous, user-centered approach.
As a Principal Design Researcher, you will understand maintenance technicians, facility managers, and operations teams. Partner with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and leadership to translate complex behaviors into actionable product decisions. Use analytics tools and AI tooling to strengthen research workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scope, plan, recruit, conduct, synthesize, and present research
- Translate complex findings into clear recommendations for product teams
- Visit sites and observe maintenance and operations workflows
- Champion customer empathy through storytelling and research read-outs
- Establish tools, templates, and research operating rhythms
Requirements:
- Six or more years of UX research experience
- Qualitative and quantitative research methodology expertise
- Ability to influence product decisions with synthesized findings
- Experience with analytics tools such as Amplitude
- Expert spoken and written English proficiency required
