This Director-level position oversees clinical and non-clinical equipment needs, from planning and procurement through installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance. You will lead Biomedical Engineering and Central Equipment services while developing multi-year strategies, budgets, workflows, and performance measures. The role supports redevelopment, Digital Health integrations, space management, and complex vendor relationships. Key Responsibilities:
Develop multi-year clinical technology strategies with procurement and hospital leaders Oversee equipment projects, installations, commissioning, training, and documentation Manage Philips MESP contract and contracted service administration Lead biomedical engineering and central equipment staff across multiple sites Coordinate space, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and signage changes Requirements:
Master’s degree or Master’s readiness in business, economics, or related field Five to ten years’ healthcare equipment planning and procurement experience At least five years’ senior leadership experience, preferably in healthcare Biomedical service leadership or equivalent experience Experience drafting requests for proposals and vendor agreements Bring healthcare equipment strategy, biomedical leadership, procurement expertise, and contract management to Mackenzie Health’s hospital system.
