The Department of Computer Science in the Faculty of Arts and Science invites applications for at least one entry-level, full-time, tenure-track appointment in Cyber Security at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing July 1, 2027, subject to final budgetary approval.

The Department of Computer Science offers a general computer science degree and specializations in databases and interactive visualization, systems and information security, and video gaming.

You will demonstrate excellence, or clear promise of excellence, in teaching both junior and senior undergraduate-level courses. In addition to teaching, you will participate in curriculum development, develop a research program involving undergraduate students, and build a broad research network. You will submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching dossier (including recent teaching evaluations), statement of research interests, and sample of scholarly work. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by the Department Chair to provide three (3) letters of reference sent directly from referees. Only selected candidates will be required to submit official transcripts sent directly from the institutions where you completed your degrees.
