- Confirm target VM sizing and disk configuration.
- Configure migration project and replication prerequisites.
- Prepare target network/security settings for migrated VMs.
- Prepare backup, monitoring, and Defender baseline plan for migrated workloads.
Responsibilities
- Creates physical database designs and operates and administers the database management system (DBMS) including database optimization, capacity planning, installation and migration, database design, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
- Manages day to day operation of Microsoft Dynamics GP and works with finance team
- Note: this role can be extended based on the performance for next 6 months/1 year
Requirements
- For OSC, where there is significant focus on ticketing systems, CRM - salesforce , reporting, and integrations, practical experience with SQL Server + Salesforce Administration + Great Plains support and implementation+ Migration of on-premises databases to Azure cloud environment.
